Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting the Food Service Manager with preparing the department's yearly budget and working within the budget's constraints.
• Direct kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and cleanup.
• Assist in overseeing food service needs for the Daycare to ensure all needs are being met.
• Assign tasks and duties, supervise attendants, cooks, stewarding, volunteers, and specialty department coordinators.
• Assist in menu planning, ordering, and implementing donations from outside resources to create a nutritional and healthy menu.
• Maintain an open relationship with all vendors, and donation providers through deliveries and communication.
• Resolve any issues as they arise. Bring issues to the attention of the Food and Beverage Manager.
• Maintain all kitchen reports, such as all temperature logs and meal counts.
• Always uphold a clean environment and be in a state of readiness for all inspections.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience:
• - High School degree or GED minimum. Associate degree preferred.
• - Minimum of 5 years culinary experience.
• - Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience
• - SERV Safe certified
• - Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and MSDS information.
• - Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• - In the midst of a mature walk with Jesus Christ

Pay

• $19.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule

• Monday through Wednesday: 10AM-6PM
• Friday & Saturday: 530AM-130PM
