Tender Touch Rehab Services is seeking a Lead Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join their dedicated team in a full-time position within a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting. Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of an occupational therapist.
• Absorb and implement personalized care plans focusing on functional goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Maintain thorough documentation to comply with all regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all required physician orders are obtained and up-to-date.
• Act as a leader and mentor within the occupational therapy department.
• Assume the responsibilities of the rehab supervisor in the absence of the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an AOTA-accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) as a COTA, if required by the state.
• Current license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of practice.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
