About the role
The Lead Carpenter is responsible for overseeing construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and managing a team of carpenters.
Responsibilities
- Oversee construction projects from start to finish
- Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and regulations
- Manage a team of carpenters, providing guidance and feedback
- Communicate effectively with clients and other contractors
- Document project progress and maintain records
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
- Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Proficient in using construction tools and equipment
- Experience with project management software
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
