Lead Carpenter/Carpenter for Outdoor Living w/ Hiring Bonus

We are Archadeck Outdoor Living, the Denver area’s premier design and build firm specializing in outdoor living spaces (Decks, Pergolas, Paver Patios, Covered Porches). We are rapidly growing and seeking the right candidates to start immediately.

Qualifications for All Positions

• Be on time and work hard (tasks include demolition, moving lumber, digging holes, laying out, constructing complex structures, and finish carpentry)

Lead Carpenter

Responsibilities

• Frame roofs (match soffit heights, figure custom rafters, set heights for wall and ridge beams, sidewall tie-ins, roof tie-ins, dry-in, flash, and shingle)
• Layout for holes, floor framing, install railings, install decking, frame/finish stairs
• Read and understand plans, and communicate those plans to crew
• Effectively communicate with management, customers, and other employees
• Multitask, give directions, and train new employees
• Maintain the right balance between quality and efficiency
• Apply working knowledge of the Residential Building Code (IRC/ICC) to decks and roofs (patio covers)

Requirements

• 5 years of related carpentry experience (2 years in outdoor living preferred)
• Excellent knowledge of how a house is built

Pay

$27 - $35 per hour plus benefits, hiring bonus, and job-based performance bonuses.

Qualified Lead Carpenter candidates are eligible to receive a $2000 hiring/retention bonus paid out after 180 days of employment.

Carpenter

Responsibilities

• Understand the basics of framing and layout
• Contribute to problem-solving and help the job progress
• Read and understand plans
• Maintain the right balance between quality and efficiency
• Apply basic knowledge of the Residential Building Code (IRC/ICC) to decks and roofs (patio covers)

Requirements

• 2-5 years of related carpentry experience
• Good knowledge of how a house is built

Pay

$23 - $28 per hour plus benefits.

Qualified Carpenter candidates are eligible to receive a $1500 hiring/retention bonus paid out after 180 days of employment.
