Lead Carpenter

About the role

We are a high-end residential Master Builder and Millwork company providing fine quality home building, renovations, custom cabinetry and architectural woodworking for discerning clientele. Our continued growth requires we add an experienced Carpenter to our Field Operations team.

Responsibilities

• Work from blueprints, drawings and instructions to construct, install and repair structures and fixtures.
• Inspect completed work for conformance with requirements and compliance with building and safety codes and regulations.
• Operate, maintain and calibrate hand and power carpentry tools.
• Read and comprehend plans and blueprints.
• Perform heavy physical labor.
• Thorough knowledge of methods, materials, tools and equipment used in both rough and finished carpentry.
• Travel is required.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license in good standing.

Qualifications

• Five-plus years of experience in high-end residential work.
• Experience working on both renovations and new home construction projects.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Skills

• Proficiency in rough and finished carpentry.
• Knowledge of building and safety codes and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.
• Physical stamina and strength for heavy labor.
