About the role

The Lead Cardiovascular Technologist position at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka, CA is full-time and works 10-hour, Day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for limited supervisory activities in the department under the direction of the Department Manager/Director.
• Demonstrates and adheres to department standards and serves as an administrative, clinical, and/or technical resource to department staff.
• Performs clinical and/or technical responsibilities that account for 75% or more of worked hours.
• Provides age-appropriate care for patients as defined by the department scope of service.

Requirements

• Graduate of a program in Radiology Imaging Technologist approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Current California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification.
• Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
• Two years of experience as a hospital-based Cardiovascular and/or Interventional Imaging Technologist.
• Two years of Cath Lab experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
• Supervisory experience.
