LEAD CAFETERIA WORKER

About the role

Ensure that all the currency is placed in the cash deposit envelope in a neat and orderly manner with like bills grouped together in the order of their denominations. Accurately court each cashier’s money and verify denominations and total sum recorded on the deposit slip.

Strive to increase knowledge of the foods service hospital policy, safety and to become a more productive member of the food and nutrition staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all cash transactions are accurately recorded and deposited.
• Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to management.
• Train new employees on food service policies and procedures.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe dining environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to prepare meals according to dietary restrictions.

Requirements

• 2 years institutional Food Service experience.
• 1 year supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred ServSafe Certification.
• Cash handling and catering experience mandatory.

Skills

• Attention to detail.
• Customer service skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
