Lead, CAD Designer (Space Optical Systems) : Sign-on bonus ($30K max)

About the role

L3Harris Space Superiority and Imaging sector has an immediate opening for a Lead, CAD Designer to support our growing Wilmington, MA site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain solid models aligned with L3Harris processes
• Create and document designs from conceptual representation through final documentation
• Implement changes to products data based on guidance from the program team
• Aid program teams in major milestones (reviews)
• Aid programs in task development as appropriate
• Manage large and complex CAD models and their corresponding data
• Act as a subject matter expert on process and product lines
• Provide input into new products/processes and implement operational plans with measurable impact

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
• 7+ years of CAD design experience
• Professional experience using PTC CREO
• Experience using Agile PLM
• Professional experience working within Aerospace design environments

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Security Clearance highly preferred
• Knowledge of project management preferred
• AutoCAD Inventor
• Oracle Agile PLM

Pay

The salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C., Denver, or NYC areas is $110,500.00 - $205,000.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
