This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Business Writer, Communications based in United States. This is a highly visible communications role focused on shaping compelling stories for external audiences through press releases and strategic business content. You will identify meaningful customer, product, and corporate stories and transform complex information into clear, credible narratives. The role combines investigative reporting, editorial judgment, business acumen, and exceptional writing and editing skills. You will work directly with executives, customers, partners, and subject matter experts to uncover insights and validate information. Your work will influence how customers, analysts, investors, media, and the broader market understand business performance and innovation. You will operate within a small, high-performing communications team where ownership, quality, and attention to detail are highly valued. The position also embraces responsible AI use to accelerate research and content development while keeping human judgment at the center. Accountabilities Identify customer, product, and business stories with strong external relevance and determine which opportunities warrant communications attention.Develop compelling narrative angles and story theses by synthesizing interviews, presentations, transcripts, data, technical information, and stakeholder perspectives.Conduct interviews with customers, executives, partners, and subject matter experts to gather insights and source material.Verify facts, figures, claims, sources, and supporting evidence to maintain accuracy and credibility across all communications.Write customer success stories, product launches, corporate press releases, and other external communications with clear, compelling narrative structures.Manage communications through executive, legal, and stakeholder review while protecting the integrity, clarity, and strategic intent of each story.Adapt to changing priorities and fast-moving opportunities while maintaining high standards for accuracy, editorial quality, and deadlines.Monitor developments across broadband, cloud, AI, telecommunications, enterprise software, and competitive technology markets to provide relevant context and perspective.Apply an editor's perspective to communications, strengthening clarity, quality, strategic relevance, and consistency.Partner closely with external public relations resources to align stories, messaging, and media engagement activities with business objectives.Use approved AI and agentic AI tools responsibly to support research, story development, drafting, and revision while applying rigorous human oversight, confidentiality, and fact-checking. Requirements Exceptional editorial judgment, storytelling ability, and writing and editing skills, with a strong commitment to accuracy, revision, and quality.Demonstrated experience uncovering compelling stories from complex, ambiguous, or information-heavy subject matter.Strong business acumen and the ability to connect technology, product strategy, customer outcomes, and business value into persuasive narratives.Strong reporting skills, including interviewing, fact verification, source validation, and information synthesis.Professional experience writing about B2B technology, SaaS, cloud, AI, telecommunications, enterprise software, or related industries.Ability to rapidly understand complex technology portfolios, products, business models, and industry dynamics and translate them into accessible business stories.Practical experience using AI and agentic AI tools for research and content development, combined with sound judgment regarding fact verification, confidentiality, and responsible use.Confidence and professionalism when working directly with executives and senior leaders.Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and navigate executive, legal, and organizational review processes while maintaining narrative quality.Excellent communication, collaboration, prioritization, and organizational skills, with the flexibility to respond effectively to changing priorities.Willingness and ability to complete a writing exercise as part of the interview process.Must be located in the United States and able to work remotely.
