Lead Business Systems Analyst

Responsibilities
- Data & Reporting: Develop and optimize SQL queries, build reports, and create Excel-based tools and dashboards to support operational and reporting needs.
- Systems Support: Configure and maintain systems such as Geneva RSL and Bloomberg AIM, participate in upgrades, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Data Quality & Governance: Ensure data accuracy and consistency, investigate discrepancies, implement data governance frameworks, and manage corporate actions and security master data.
- Compliance Monitoring: Support the Bloomberg AIM Compliance Module, maintain investment guidelines, review daily compliance reports, and process trade overrides when needed.
- Collaboration & Problem Solving: Work with vendors, custodians, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve processes.
- Audit & Operational Support: Support internal and external audits, assist leadership on special projects, and help train team members for backup coverage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in asset management, investment administration, or financial services operations with strong knowledge of fixed income products and accounting principles.
- Strong SQL skills (complex queries, joins, stored procedures) and experience with investment accounting systems such as Geneva or PORTIA.
- An MBA or CPA, experience with Bloomberg AIM, Geneva RSL, programming (VBA, Python, etc.), and familiarity with compliance frameworks or custodian data feeds are considered a plus.

- Effective communication skills to clearly present findings and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
