Lead Business Strategy
This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in Dallas, TX. No relocation is offered.
About the role
AT&T’s Transformation and Supply Chain (TSC) Strategy Team focuses on collaborative problem-solving, strategic analysis, and analytical support to directly impact billions of dollars of AT&T’s cost structure and future investments, while driving best-in-class practices across AT&T’s vast supply chain and wireline networks.
Our Lead Business Strategy professionals work in small teams to support and lead projects and craft actionable, innovative recommendations for AT&T’s senior leadership. You’ll analyze the impact of industry trends, emerging technologies, macroeconomic and competitive factors, and third-party supplier spend and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Provide thought leadership and strategic analysis on fast-paced, complex opportunities and challenges facing AT&T’s Transformation and Supply Chain organization.
- Fact-based negotiation support, including industry analytics, competitive event strategy, and “should cost” negotiation benchmarking.
- Best-in-class market intelligence including M&A monitoring, supplier financial health assessments, and supply chain visibility to best position AT&T for success.
- Develop creative, strategic solutions to drive meaningful transformation for AT&T’s operations and cost structure.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with management consulting, analytics, strategy, or other related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a Supply Chain related field.
- Strategic mindset and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to provide structured thinking to deconstruct complex problems and help advance strategic initiatives with data-driven solutions.
- Ability to work with multiple sources of data to develop financial and operational models.
- Strong communication (both oral and written) and presentation skills.
- Effective leadership and teamwork skills working with cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering against tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and intellectual curiosity.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or another highly strategic/analytical role; ideally with exposure to the telecommunications or technology industries.
- Exposure to software, mechanical, and electrical engineering concepts.
- MBA preferred.

Pay
Individual starting salary within the range of $130,700 - $196,100 USD annual in Dallas, TX may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
