Position Overview

The Human Resources Business Partner, Corporate Functions, will partner with employees and leaders across our dynamic corporate organization. This role blends strategic business partnership (25%) with hands-on HR operations (75%), helping to drive employee engagement, compliance, and effective people practices throughout the organization. The role operates with strong judgment, solid HR generalist knowledge, and the ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism, discretion, and care. This position supports the Finance, Legal, Commercial, and Human Resources functions, while also providing general HR support to employees based at the Memphis Support Center.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Respond to employee inquiries, questions, and complaints, and provide information, guidance and direction on employee relations issues, performance management, and other core HR functions
  • Operate as a key business partner to employees, managers, directors and senior leaders on workforce analytics, organizational optimization, leadership development, and other strategic initiatives
  • Work closely with the functional experts in HR (recruiting, culture, training and development, compensation, and benefits) to ensure programs are optimized for the needs of your client groups and to shape Monogram-wide programs
  • Counsel and assist employees and managers, guided by the Company’s policies and relevant laws/regulations

  • Facilitate internal transfers, oversee and facilitate promotion opportunities, conduct exit interviews, and identify trends to support retention, career development, and to minimize risk for the business
  • Work with managers and above to implement key HR recommendations and change efforts
  • Aid in the creation, documentation, and implementation of human resources policies, programs, and processes
  • Uphold standards of strict confidentiality with respect to all matters and documents
  • Oversee core HR administrative activities, including maintaining employee records, supporting policy implementation, and ensuring accurate documentation throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Facilitates job requisition review and approval process

Qualifications

  • Education and Experience:
    • Professional degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues
    • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
    • Experience partnering with, coaching, and guiding senior leaders as a HR business partner
    • Experience using data and high judgement to drive business decisions
    • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred
  • Additional Competencies and Skills (specific to function or dept):

    • Demonstrated success at building effective relationships
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
    • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors
    • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
    • Ability to use independent judgment to make decisions as well as organize and prioritize work
    • Ability to work well across all levels of the organization, and to communicate effectively with individuals from different cultures, socioeconomic and educational backgrounds
    • Proficient with automation tools, Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Physical Demands:
    • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time in front of a computer
    • Ability to move about the facility on a regular basis to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking
    • Visual and hearing acuity
