Lead Business Analyst
The Business Analyst Lead
Lead requirements elicitation activities through stakeholder interviews, workshops, document analysis, process mapping sessions, and working groups.
Analyze, document, validate, and manage business, functional, technical, and operational requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop business process models, workflow diagrams, use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications supporting solution delivery.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, user story development, and stakeholder demonstrations.
Collaborate with architects, developers, DevSecOps teams, data teams, and product owners to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.
Support release planning, change management, business readiness, and organizational adoption activities.
Lead user acceptance testing efforts, develop test scenarios, validate requirements traceability, and ensure delivered solutions meet business needs.
Analyze business operations and identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, modernization, and operational efficiencies.
Develop executive briefings, reports, presentations, decision support materials, and project documentation.
Provide leadership and mentoring to junior business analysts and project team members.
Support governance activities, risk identification, issue management, and stakeholder communications.
Special Requirements
- US Citizenship Required to obtain a Public Trust
- Bachelor Degree and 10 years of experience serving as a Business Analyst supporting large scale technology initiatives
- Min 5 years of experience supporting Agile and Scrum environments
- Min 2 years of experience supporting federal government agencies or highly regulated industries
