Responsibilities
- Aid in scheduling and creating content for advertising campaigns, utilizing various media platforms.
- Create basic marketing graphics and internal/external signage as needed.
- Generate sales leads through networking, outreach, and targeted email campaigns.
- Manage and archive facility/event photos and videos; serve as a primary contact for third-party photographers and videographers.
- Support community-facing and marquee events through strong on-site brand and guest experience education.
- Develop and execute on-site activations, fan engagement initiatives, and sponsor experiences.
- Facilitate media outreach, build relationships with key media contacts, and strategize media coverage.
- Support the Coordinator, Marketing, Retail & Brand Experience with on-site ticketing operations.
- Develop ticket sales strategies and outreach.
- Coordinate retail-related needs during events, including promotional tie-ins and guest flow alignment.
- Collaborate on cross-promotional initiatives connecting ticketing, partnerships, and retail revenue opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute key events, such as the Jackie Robinson Day Game and the Andre Dawson Classic.
- Serve as an on-site point of contact for media relations and brand execution during MLB and third-party events.
Qualifications & Skills
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience working in sports marketing, sales, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Prior experience working in professional or amateur baseball is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to manage both personal and team time effectively.
- Supervisory experience of at least 1 year is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Adobe Suite (Illustrator and InDesign) and/or Canva is preferred.
- Ability to lift boxes and equipment up to 30 pounds as needed.
- Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License.
Pay
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.
