About the role

This position is ideal for an ABA expert with advanced clinical skills, reliability, and leadership potential. As a Lead BCBA, you will mentor and support other BCBAs, RBTs, and clinical fellows while developing management, coaching, and mentoring skills. You’ll participate in program development, quality improvement, and organizational projects, influencing clinic-wide practices and treatment quality beyond an individual caseload. This role prepares you for future leadership positions such as Clinical Supervisor, Clinic Director, or Support Center Clinical Development roles.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based ABA services to children with autism
  • Manage a caseload of up to 10 clients, completing 28 billable hours in a 40-hour week (billable hours are not tied to pay)
  • Work with children ages 2–18, primarily under age 6
  • Supervise and develop up to 5 RBTs
  • Conduct assessments, write individualized treatment plans, and monitor client progress
  • Collaborate with Clinical Directors, fellow BCBAs, and Regional Directors of Quality to troubleshoot cases and uphold best practices
  • Maintain ethical documentation and compliance with BACB and state guidelines

Requirements

  • Active BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • State licensure where required
  • 3 years of experience in the ABA field, with 2 years as a licensed BCBA
  • ABA experience (RBT background is a plus for new BCBAs)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a clinic-based setting
  • Passion for ethical, client-centered ABA in a team-focused environment

Pay

Base salary range: $85,000 USD – $95,000 USD

Schedule

Hybrid schedule with a 40-hour workweek, including 28 billable hours.
