About the role

Caravel Autism Health is dedicated to leading ABA treatment for children on the autism spectrum. The Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) at Caravel are responsible for overseeing and managing intervention programs and treatment teams, ensuring quality treatment and adherence to standards of care.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full range of ABA treatment services including assessment, programming, progress monitoring, program modification, parent training, care coordination with other providers, and insurance authorization.
  • Ensure compliance with state and insurance guidelines.
  • Provide clinical recommendations regarding treatment intensity, modality, and transition/exit planning, collaborating with parents and other stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and modify treatment based on the Caravel Quality of Effective Treatment (QET) measure.
  • Train and supervise clinical staff to maintain high-quality treatment services.
  • Supervise others with a focus on developing their clinical, problem-solving, and certification skills.
  • Collaborate with other clinicians and cross-functional team members.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as generating reports, completing insurance reviews, and filling out forms to ensure appropriate funding for client services and staff management.

Requirements

  • Must be Board Certified Behavior Analyst or a state-licensed behavior analyst and meet state-specific requirements.
  • At least one year of experience utilizing applied behavior analysis and providing behavior services to clients with autism in in-home and/or clinic-based settings.
