Lead Biostatistician

About the role

As a Lead Biostatistician at Cleveland Clinic Research, you will collaborate with a team to manage and analyze data for research projects. You will also provide statistical guidance to investigators and researchers.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain computerized databases for research projects
• Provide statistical expertise to investigators and researchers
• Coordinate the training and development of statistical personnel
• Lead the design and conduct of randomized and non-randomized clinical trials or retrospective studies
• Develop tools necessary to address statistical needs not readily available in software packages
• Develop and present short courses to both experienced and less experienced personnel
• Consult with investigators on methods and procedures for implementing studies and clinical trials
• Monitor data collection to ensure quality and compliance

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Biostatistics, Statistics or a related field
• Six years of relevant statistical experience in a medical environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Expertise in standard statistical software and database management packages
• Demonstrated excellence in statistical methodology

Qualifications
