About the Opportunity
The Lead BI Developer is responsible for owning and managing the reporting infrastructure that supports decision-making across business verticals, including Credit Cards, Make Money/Manage Money, Banking, and Marketplace. Working closely with business teams, this role delivers actionable insights, standardizes reporting, and serves as a trusted analytical partner who influences business outcomes beyond dashboard creation.
Responsibilities
- Audit existing reporting processes and develop a roadmap to standardize reporting across assigned business verticals.
- Partner with Yield, Paid Media, and Account Management teams to identify meaningful trends and perform retrospective analyses.
- Improve dashboard standardization while delivering accurate, context-driven ad hoc reporting.
- Promote data literacy and best practices to enable self-service analytics across teams.
- Deliver proactive analyses on experiments, creative performance, offers, seasonality, customer acquisition costs, and other key business metrics.
- Own the end-to-end reporting lifecycle, from data ingestion through dashboard delivery, for assigned business verticals.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in business intelligence or analytics, preferably supporting performance or affiliate marketing.
- Expert-level SQL skills with the ability to work with complex and unstructured datasets.
- Experience with advanced LookML development or equivalent expertise in Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong reporting ownership and data governance skills.
- Excellent data literacy with the ability to translate insights into business performance improvements.
- Strong business acumen and curiosity with the ability to become a trusted analytical partner.
Pay Range and Compensation Package
Base salary: $120,000 – $150,000 per year
Paid semi-monthly.
Compensation includes base salary, profit-sharing bonus, and a competitive benefits package.
Future salary increases are based on individual and company performance rather than cost-of-living adjustments.
