About the role
The Lead Behavioral Health Technician plays a key role in supporting clients in their daily living activities while welcoming and orienting new residents, accompanying them to appointments, and ensuring proper documentation of important information. Responsibilities also include managing resources, training staff, addressing issues, and collaborating with the client and treatment team.
Responsibilities

- Read, analyze, and interpret human service periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
- Write end-of-shift reports, incident reports, life-skills reports, and any other required documentation.
- Prioritize tasks and manage interruptions quickly and appropriately.
- Navigate the unit computer, check emails, document reports into Carelogic, clock in and out for meals, perform daily scanning, and complete assigned tasks.
- Complete assigned online learning and training by due dates.
- Communicate accurate information to the manager and other staff.

- Demonstrate reliable attendance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year of leadership experience.
- Ability to pass a criminal background and drug screen.
- Current vaccination for tuberculosis (TB) or willingness to be vaccinated upon hire.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers; handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk; and hear.
- Frequently required to walk, balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Keyboard data entry required.
