Responsibilities
As a Lead Controls Technician on our team, you will be responsible for leading field operations across the Greater Sacramento Area, overseeing BAS installation, startup, commissioning, service, troubleshooting, and retrofit projects for commercial customers. The role combines hands-on technical expertise with field leadership, working closely with engineering, project management, and sales while mentoring technicians and helping establish consistent service and commissioning standards.
Requirements
- 7+ years of BAS/HVAC controls industry experience
- Ability to be a part of the UA Plumbers & Pipefitters or SMART Sheet Metal Workers union
- BAS startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting experience
- Valid CA driver's license
- Experience with one or more of the following platforms (or related): Johnson Controls, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Distech, Tridium Niagara, Automated Logic, Delta Controls, Honeywell, etc.
Qualifications
- Tridium Niagara N4 certification (nice to have)
- Johnson Controls Metasys and/or FX experience (nice to have)
- Honeywell experience (nice to have)
Pay
$110,000 - $140,000 per year
