Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a full range of coffee, espresso, and specialty beverages to recipe and quality standards.
- Lead by example in delivering warm, engaging, and efficient guest service for every interaction.
- Supervise and support barista staff during shifts, providing real-time coaching and guidance.
- Aid in the onboarding and training of new baristas, ensuring consistency in drink preparation and service standards.
- Open and close the market as needed, including setup, breakdown, and checklist completion.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and market area at all times.
- Handle cash and POS transactions accurately and assist team members with transaction issues as they arise.
- Communicate any equipment issues, guest concerns, or team needs to the F and B Manager promptly.
- Aid in tracking inventory and submitting supply requests to management.
- Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards and ensure the team follows them consistently.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of barista experience, with at least one year in a lead, senior, or supervisory capacity preferred.
- Strong knowledge of espresso preparation, drink recipes, and coffee equipment operation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a small team in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented.
- Comfortable handling guest concerns with professionalism and confidence.
- Basic math and cash handling skills.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Frequent reaching, bending, and stooping throughout the shift.
- Ability to operate espresso machines and other market equipment safely.
- Comfortable working in a small, enclosed market space with hot equipment and refrigeration units.

Compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
