Job Summary
You will be responsible for preparing delicious, high-quality meals that meet our standards in taste, presentation, and safety for events happening in the hotel and restaurant. Your enthusiasm for food preparation and kitchen operations will help ensure a seamless experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare items for events according to recipes, standards, and quality specifications
- Aid in food presentation to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance
- Support food service operations by plating dishes efficiently and accurately
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation during all shifts
- Follow kitchen safety protocols and maintain cleanliness throughout the food preparation area
- Handle dietary accommodations and special requests with attention to detail
Requirements
- Previous experience in banquet experience demonstrating culinary proficiency is highly valued
- Strong food preparation and food handling skills are essential
- Leadership qualities
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, knife skills, and meal preparation processes is important
- Experience in the food industry or culinary environments demonstrates your readiness for this role
- Commitment to food safety standards and proper sanitation practices is required
