Lead Baker
Position Overview
Prepare and execute all baked goods, breads, pastries, desserts, and related products according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure consistency in flavor, texture, appearance, and overall quality across all items.
Manage daily production schedules and prep lists to support operational needs and service demands.
Maintain product freshness and adhere to proper rotation and storage procedures.
Lead and support bakery and pastry team members through training, guidance, and accountability.
Achieve a strong sense of organization and urgency while setting the standard for execution and professionalism.
Assist in delegating tasks and ensure production goals are completed efficiently and accurately.
Foster a positive and team-oriented kitchen environment.
Collaborate with culinary leadership on seasonal features, menu development, and new product ideas.
Contribute creative input while maintaining alignment with the overall concept and standards.
Stay informed on current baking and pastry trends, techniques, and industry developments.
Maintain inventory awareness, assist with ordering, and monitor product levels to minimize waste and shortages.
Ensure all baking equipment, tools, and workspaces are clean, organized, and properly maintained.
Assist with receiving and properly storing deliveries and ingredients.
Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards at all times.
Maintain proper labeling, dating, and storage procedures for all products.
Ensure cleanliness and organization throughout all bakery and prep areas.
