About the role
Perform high-level assessments of quality systems in various manufacturing sites, farms, processing plants, and other work-related sites. Conduct audits in accordance with UL, industry schemes, and client audit protocols, focusing on GMP, Quality Systems, Food Safety initiatives, and client programs.
Responsibilities
- Audit facilities and report on their working and operational conditions in relation to industry standards for GMP, Quality Systems, Food Safety initiatives, and client programs.
- Maintain a high level of technical knowledge and mentor trainees, auditors, and lead auditors in the field.
- Lead and execute complex methodologies, advanced analyses, and comprehensive reporting for audits.
- Write audit reports in English, ensuring they are objective, accurate, detailed, and timely.
- Complete audit agendas within 14 calendar days and reports within 4 calendar days of the audit.
- Submit audit expenses in a timely manner.
- Perform at least 10 days of audits per month.
Qualifications
- University degree (equivalent to Bachelor’s degree) required, preferably in Food or Pharma Sciences, Engineering, Technology, or similar.
- One or more scope-specific professional credentials, such as GFSI recognized auditor credentials, CQA, RABQSA, IRCA, RAC, Pharmaceutical GMP Professional Certification (CPGP).
- Four years of related work experience in manufacturing, retail sectors, quality assurance, food safety, or relevant experience.
- Willingness and ability to travel to other countries, states, regions, provinces, and/or throughout any assigned or designated country up to 70-80% annually.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and proficiency in a second language if required.
- Excellent oral communication skills, capable of addressing high executive audiences and conducting opening and closing conferences.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Creative and innovative thinking to problem-solve and streamline processes.
- Ability to lead a team of auditors during project execution and specialized audits.
- Proficiency in internet navigation, email, and PC software such as Microsoft Word, Excel.
- Ability to travel locally and regionally, and work remotely.
Benefits
This position offers a total rewards package including a salary range of $80,000 to $102,000, annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 10% of the base salary, health benefits, wellness benefits, and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. Employees receive paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday (12 days), and sick time (72 hours).
