Lead Audio Visual Technician
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of audio-visual technicians, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Assist in the preparation for audio-visual projects, including testing equipment and ensuring all necessary tools and materials are available and accounted for.
- Install audio-visual technology for standard and custom projects. Help manage project timelines and expectations.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues that arise during projects to ensure seamless execution.
- Work closely with project managers, sales teams, and engineers to align on project goals and deliverables.
- Represent UTG professionally when interacting with customers, upholding the company's values of service and excellence.
- This position is based out of our headquarters in Fishers and will require significant travel to client sites in the surrounding Indianapolis area. Occasional out-of-state travel will be required (Typically once a month or less). However, if hired to service our largest customer, travel is much more frequent with out-of-state travel being weekly.
Requirements
- 3-5 Years AV Technician Experience
- Crestron and Biamp Experience
- Commercial Audio-Visual Installation Experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Willingness to Travel to Client Sites
- Able to Regularly Lift 50+ Pounds
- AVIXA CTS Certification (CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I, or Similar)
- Nice-to-Haves: Other Crestron and Biamp Certifications, QSYS / QSC Certification, Bachelor's Degree, Rigging Experience, Electrical Experience, New Construction Install Experience
