Lead Audio Visual Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Lead AV Technician to work at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO. The pay range for this role is $24.00–$27.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong communication between team members, clients, and hotel staff.
• Provide client-facing customer service and interaction.
• Prepare, set up, and strike audio-visual equipment; keep inventory updated at all times.
• Track inventory and ensure orders are completed in a timely fashion.
• Operate AV equipment with full understanding of signal flow and equipment specifications.
• Determine equipment shortages, prepare equipment orders, and offer substitutions.
• Maintain open lines of communication with management at all times.
• Follow strict guidelines and a rigid schedule.
• Professionally represent INSPIRE and adhere to grooming and attire policies.
• Continue our long-standing respectful relationship with clients and hotel staff.
• Work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment where input is always appreciated.
• Protect company equipment as if it were your own and report any damages to respective personnel.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
• Perform any other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Versatile in all AV disciplines.
• Experienced with audio-visual technology.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds independently.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple events and team members in daily duties.
• Solid computer skills.
