About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Lead Architect to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment.
Responsibilities
- Define and govern the end-to-end telemetry ecosystem for observability
- Establish standardized telemetry schemas and a unified signal model across various workloads
- Architect end-to-end telemetry flows from application instrumentation to data persistence
- Extend observability into AI domains to capture specific signals and metrics
- Ensure alignment of infrastructure and application observability within the enterprise
- Drive the adoption of service-level indicators and intelligent telemetry pipelines
- Act as a technical authority influencing design and operational standards
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software, platform, or enterprise architecture roles
- 5+ years in observability, monitoring, or operational platforms in cloud environments
- Deep understanding of distributed systems observability (tracing, metrics at scale, log aggregation)
- Strong knowledge of OpenTelemetry concepts and telemetry pipelines
- Familiarity with AIOps concepts like anomaly detection and time-series analysis
- Experience designing scalable and cost-efficient cloud architectures, preferably AWS
- Collaborative skills to influence across engineering organizations
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with AI/LLM observability or security observability in regulated environments is a plus

Pay
$201,683 – $322,693 annually
