Job Description
Citi is seeking a Lead Applications Development Analyst to lead the design and development of complex application systems within a high-performing technology team. This senior role involves driving systems analysis and application programming activities that support new product delivery and process improvements. The position requires deep technical expertise and the ability to make architectural decisions that impact outcomes at scale. The analyst will work closely with management teams to integrate functions and enhance systems.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role.
- 6 or more years of practical experience in SQL, including writing complex queries and optimizing database performance.
- Extensive background in systems analysis and software application programming.
- Prominent track record of managing and delivering software development projects.
- Subject matter expertise in at least one area of applications development.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Ability to shift priorities quickly in response to changing circumstances.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions.
- Resolve high impact problems through evaluation of complex business processes.
- Provide expertise in applications programming and ensure adherence to architecture blueprints.
- Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow to develop coding and testing standards.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of business areas to accomplish goals.
- Provide in-depth analysis to define issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts.
- Assess risk when making business decisions and ensure compliance with regulations.
