About the role
The Lead Application Developer will lead the development and maintenance of complex software applications. This role requires a deep understanding of software development lifecycle, proficiency in multiple programming languages, and strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and consistency.
- Document design decisions, coding standards, and processes to facilitate knowledge transfer and future development.
- Continuously improve development processes and practices through adoption of new technologies and methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong understanding of database design and SQL.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications
- Experience with AI tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
Skills
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with back-end technologies (Node.js, Django, Ruby on Rails).
- Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
Schedule
