About the role

The Lead Application Developer will lead the development and maintenance of complex software applications. This role requires a deep understanding of software development lifecycle, proficiency in multiple programming languages, and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and consistency.
  • Document design decisions, coding standards, and processes to facilitate knowledge transfer and future development.
  • Continuously improve development processes and practices through adoption of new technologies and methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong understanding of database design and SQL.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience with AI tools and technologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools.

Skills

  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
  • Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience with back-end technologies (Node.js, Django, Ruby on Rails).
  • Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with version control systems (Git).
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually.

Schedule
