About the role

The Lead Analytical and Automation Solutions designs and leads delivery of analytical and automation solutions across multiple use cases or domains. Applies advanced automation and AI capabilities to solve complex business problems, determine solution approaches, lead execution planning, and drive measurable business outcomes through implementation, adoption, and performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution delivery, from requirements definition through implementation, ensuring scalability, quality, and business alignment.
• Define solution approaches, evaluate tradeoffs, and make decisions on design, tools, and methodologies.
• Translate complex and ambiguous business requirements into structured analytical outputs, automation workflows, and solution architectures.
• Drive issue resolution, optimize solution performance, and ensure long-term solution effectiveness and sustainability.
• Influence stakeholders across teams to align on solution design, priorities, and delivery expectations. Drive adoption and ensure solutions deliver measurable business value and operational improvements.
• Identify opportunities to enhance processes, frameworks, and automation capabilities across multiple solutions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members; support knowledge sharing and capability development.

Percentage time allocations for key responsibilities: 25% end-to-end delivery, 20% solution design, 15% requirements translation, 10% performance optimization, 10% stakeholder influence, 10% process enhancement, 5% mentorship, 5% other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years of experience designing and leading analytical and automation solutions across multiple use cases or domains.
• Experience evaluating solution approaches across analytics, automation (RPA/workflows), and AI/ML techniques (e.g., predictive models, NLP).
• Demonstrated experience leading requirements, guiding implementation, and integrating multiple capabilities into scalable solutions.
• Working knowledge of GenAI applications (LLM-based solutions, automation augmentation).
• Recognized as a technical lead across multiple use cases.

Work Environment

• Normal office environment.
• Remote or hybrid; 3 to 4 days per month required in office if within 60 miles of a posted Bread Financial location.

Pay

Salary range: $125,400.00 – $200,600.00. Actual base pay may depend on work location, education, experience, and skills.

• New York: $137,900.00 – $250,800.00
• Washington: $137,900.00 – $230,700.00
• Maryland: $137,900.00 – $220,700.00
• Washington DC: $144,200.00 – $230,700.00
• Illinois: $125,400.00 – $220,700.00
• New Jersey: $144,200.00 – $230,700.00
• Vermont: $125,400.00 – $200,600.00
• Ohio: $125,400.00 – $200,600.00

• Connecticut: $137,900.00 – $220,700.00

Eligibility for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
