About the role

This role involves overseeing a skilled team, guiding project flow, and ensuring the highest standards of quality in aircraft detailing. Key responsibilities include processing work orders, maintaining logbook entries, and managing diverse detailing tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Process work orders and maintain logbook entries.
  • Manage and perform detailed work on aircraft interiors and exteriors.
  • Polish, buff, or treat aircraft sections as required.
  • Assist with shop floor clean-up and other minor cleaning duties.
  • Monitor and inspect aircraft detailing.
  • Schedule and work quality are essential.
  • Show excellent drive and initiative.
  • Work with customers in project management, pricing, and customer support roles.
  • Look for opportunities to reduce turn time of aircraft.
  • Train and mentor team members.
  • Supervise team members in daily work and project management for completion of projects.
  • Communicate effectively (speaking, writing, reading) in English.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal.
  • 5+ years’ experience in aircraft detailing preferred.
  • Experience in supervising four or more team members highly preferred.

  • Reliable transportation to get to work each day.
  • Must perform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.

  • Supervise team members in daily operations and duties.
  • Completion of work orders, FAA paperwork.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $18-$28. Actual hourly rate will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
