About the role

The Aircraft Systems Technician Lead position is a key role within Janicki Industries, an innovative aerospace company based in Hamilton, Washington. This position oversees and leads teams in executing various aircraft systems projects, ensuring quality and adherence to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Reads, interprets, and follows pass downs, work orders, isometric drawings, blueprints, work instructions and other technical and non-technical documents.
  • Receives and carries out directions from designated supervisors.
  • Participates in training, safety, and quality programs.
  • Keeps work orders stamped, dated, and organized.
  • Electrical Harness routing & inspection, electrical soldering & inspection, electrical bonding & inspection, ground network installation.
  • Aerospace style electrical connection installation and testing support, anti-chafing wrap installation.
  • Electrical Equipment installation and Electrical System continuity testing.
  • Hardline tube routing and fit-up and titanium, aluminum, and SS tube swaging.
  • Threaded fitting install, torquing, and sealing.
  • Oxygen tube installation and ECS ducting installation.
  • Leak checking and pressure test support.
  • Fulfills other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated previous aircraft systems experience.
  • Current DoD Secret Clearance (investigation within the last 6 years) preferred.
  • Prior military experience encouraged.
  • Knowledge of and ability to use common hand tools for assembly components per verbal, written, and drawing requirements.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow work orders, written procedures, blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language.

Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.

Additional Information

The wage range for this role is between $30 - $50 an hour plus a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, off-site work, and access pay. The range provided is Janicki's estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.
