About the role

Kayne Anderson Rudnick Investment Management is seeking a Lead Advisor for their Southeast region. The Lead Advisor will collaborate with the Managing Director, Business Development Officer to develop and manage new client relationships, focusing on referrals from custodial partners.

Responsibilities

  • Attend prospective client meetings and events sponsored by custodian partners.
  • Develop strategies to enhance the client experience and assist the BDO in growing their practice through referrals and additional funding from existing clients.
  • Prepare and present customized investment proposals in collaboration with the BDO, communicating them effectively to clients.
  • Provide financial planning advice using the eMoney financial planning platform and other technology tools.
  • Offer comprehensive wealth management services to high-net-worth clients, ensuring personalized attention to their unique financial goals and needs.
  • Offer investment advisory services, including asset allocation and investment solution recommendations.
  • Conduct regular client portfolio reviews and maintain proactive communication with clients.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a finance or economics background.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on wealth advisory client service.
  • Experience in financial planning and wealth management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft operating platform, eMoney financial planning platform, and Salesforce CRM platform.
  • Series 65 or 66 license (or equivalent certifications).

Pay

The starting salary is $120,000.00 to $150,000.00, with the offer varying based on education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity, and market data.

Schedule

The Lead Advisor will be based in Chicago, working remotely with approximately 50% travel.
