Lead Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage several projects in a dynamic fast-paced global environment, ensuring compliance with company business policies and procedures.
• Work on onsite in Olathe, KS under the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
• Develop and improve work practices and processes.
• Review process and product quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Lead large scale projects.
• Mentor and coach junior level engineers.
• Develop new techniques and analytical tools.
• Collaborate with engineering, sourcing, and supply base for building projects pipeline and timely execution.
• Establish and drive manufacturing engineering strategy.
• Lead, mentor, and coach team of project managers to conduct workshops.
• Build pipeline for YOY improvement in results.

Qualifications

• Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
• 10 years of experience in Aerospace or Manufacturing related fields.
• Extensive relevant experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Aerospace.
• Master’s Degree or advanced professional certification preferred.
• Expert knowledge of manufacturing engineering.
• Strong technical knowledge of Avionics products like weather radar and collision avoidance products.
• Leverage of Lean/6σ Certification.
• Working knowledge of SAP.
