Lead Accounting Analyst

Responsibilities
- Performs the more critical and complex analytical [Banking] System duties to facilitate efficiency
- Review and analyze the monthly disbursement bank account reconciliations to identify and resolve account variances.
- Participate in related Banking projects
- Monitor check stock usage and check forgery items and analyze
- Review and analyze payee positive pay items submitted by US Bank
- Analyze and ensure timely filing of the Unclaimed Property Accounts to multiple States according to compliance and regulation.
- Propose policies, procedures and guidelines for the unit to reflect current rules and regulations.
- Serve as primary liaison with internal & external auditors, MAR group, and consultants as needed.
Requirements
- Background investigation must be cleared prior to hire.
- Effective July 1, 2025, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) reduces monthly salary in exchange for leave credits; employees in this classification will have their salary reduced and accrue PLP hours each pay period per the applicable bargaining contract. The posted salary range does not reflect this reduction.
Pay
Salary range: $6,330.00 – $7,929.00 per month. New to State candidates are hired at the minimum of the range (or alternate range minimum when applicable). Note that the PLP 2025 salary reduction is not reflected in this range.
