About the role
Reporting to the Associate Director of Engineering Advising & Student Engagement, the Lead Academic Adviser provides advising, programs, and services to support first year Engineering Undeclared students who are clarifying their academic interests and goals and preparing for placement into majors. Additionally, this position manages the Engineering Peer Educator program, which is deeply embedded in the first-year student experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage the College of Engineering's Engineering Peer Educator (EPE) program, including vision-setting and implementation of the EPE program and GEN ST 199 in partnership with the Associate Director of Advising & Student Engagement.
- Collaborate with Emerging Leaders in Engineering (ELE)
