About the role

Provides direct patient care in a labor and delivery setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on post-treatment needs, and collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and communicate individualized care plans. Utilizes critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license
• Experience: No experience required; less than 2 years preferred for higher qualification
