LDAR Tech II
Responsibilities
- Ensure that Health & Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies always, & processes & acting in a safe manner
- Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting, pulling & pushing heavy objects
- Perform routine, scheduled inspections of components (valves, connectors, pumps, tanks) to detect leaks of volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
- Maintain and operate analyzers (e.g., Flame Ionization Detectors - FID)
- Record inspection data, tag leaking components, and manage inventory within databases like LeakDAS, GuideWare, SkyBridge
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to environmental regulations (e.g., 40 CFR Subpart 60) and strict site safety protocols
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to report leaks and verify repairs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- TWIC, preferred
- Confined space entry & 10 Hour OSHA Training, preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and able to work independently
