LCSW - Behavioral Health Manager

About the role

Memorial Behavioral Health Center, Springfield, IL, is seeking a Behavioral Health Manager to oversee their outpatient program providing mental health services to adults, senior adults, and children & adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all day-to-day operations of the outpatient program
• Hands-on supervision for approximately 20 staff
• Leading program development with short-term and long-term goals
• Ensuring compliance with hospital, state, federal, and licensing agency regulatory standards
• Establishing relationships with community leaders and service providers to promote/foster the positive reputation of the program

Qualifications

• Unencumbered Illinois Master's level license - LCSW, LCPC, or equivalent
• Experience with program development and supervision
• Experience working with patients of varying ages and backgrounds
• Able to pass background and drug screen
• Have or be able to obtain IM + CANS certification within 30 days of hire
• Management experience in community mental health
• Familiarity with community agencies
• Familiarity with Illinois mental health services and the child welfare state system
