About the role
LCSW Assessment Specialist conducts comprehensive psychosocial and mental-health assessments, evaluates risk and treatment needs, coordinates with the interdisciplinary care team, assists with crisis intervention, and helps develop appropriate treatment and discharge plans for patients receiving behavioral-health services.

Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling
- North Carolina LCSW license
- BLS (AHA)
- CPI (Handle With Care – can be completed on site)
- 2 years recent acute-care hospital experience in specialty
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a psychiatric health-care facility
- Direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, and psychiatric patients
Schedule
- Length of assignment: 13 weeks
- Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
