LCS Logistics Specialist

Essential Functions

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by packing items securely and labeling packages appropriately.
• Process shipments using UPS and FedEx portals, ensuring compliance with carrier requirements.
• Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing slips, and customs paperwork.
• Auxiliary in maintaining accurate spare parts inventory through regular counts and updates.
• Investigate and resolve stock level discrepancies in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
• Maintain organized and efficient storage of inventory, including operation of vertical storage units.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Comply with all safety protocols, best practices, and quality standards in the shipping/receiving department.
• Ensure adherence to all shipping and receiving regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory transactions.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma, or relevant shipping/receiving experience.
• Skills and abilities: Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Word), effective communication, problem solving, organizational skills, physical stamina, ability to lift and move heavy packages, willingness to work flexible hours and overtime if needed.
