AWARE is looking for a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our compassionate and fully engaged team. Responsibilities
- Provide clinical program supervision according to administrative rule and corporate policy for assigned programs.
- Counsel clients one-on-one to assist with mental health issues.
- Interview clients, review records, and confer with professionals to evaluate mental conditions.
- Collaborate with supervisors, directors, staff physicians, and other professionals to plan and coordinate treatment based on client needs and strengths.
- Monitor, evaluate, and record client progress toward treatment goals.
- Refer clients and family members to community resources and follow through to ensure service efficacy.
- Provide clinical assistance to other staff as needed.
- Offer consultation, evaluation, and treatment services when required.
- Spend time with consumers and families to assist with problem-solving and address issues identified in treatment plans.
- Participate in treatment team meetings for consumers.
- Report behavioral and emotional observations to the support team and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Utilize H.E.L.P. (including therapeutic holds) when a resident is a danger to self or others; perform basic First Aid and/or CPR as needed.
- Attend and participate in mandatory training, in-services, staff meetings, and corporate committees.
- Demonstrate consistent productivity to meet client needs and fiscal goals, including billing and caseload maintenance.
- Develop crisis plans with caregivers, including 24/7 direct and telephonic response options.
- Accurately record data using AWARE’s Electronic Medical Records System.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (MS, MA, PhD) in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Current LCPC or LCSW license.
- One (1) year of direct work experience.
- Knowledge of human behavior, psychological research methods, and assessment/treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.
- Familiarity with principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of mental dysfunctions.
- Understanding of customer and personal service principles, including needs assessment and service evaluation.
- Must maintain professional licensure/certification as required by state and federal governing boards.
- Valid Montana Driver’s License or willingness to obtain one.
- Acceptable driving record, criminal background check, and protective services background check.
Pay
LCPC/LCSWs at AWARE earn between $60,000.00 and $70,000.00 per year.
