Responsibilities

• Utilize total station equipment to receive point data information from the CAD department.
• Lay out plumbing sleeves and hangers, piping sleeves and hangers, and duct sleeves and hangers.
• Travel to job sites to collect information and send it to the CAD department for coordination and/or fabrication.
• Travel to job sites regardless of location.
• Collect information for as-built purposes in new construction or existing buildings and download it to the CAD department for coordination and/or fabrication.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and health protocols.
• Supervise and guide crews as needed.

Requirements

• Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy, and hazardous areas.
• Work in high places, tight spaces, confined spaces, and other adverse locations.
• Climb, balance, squat, kneel, and crouch as required.
• Work in all types of weather conditions.
• Possess a working knowledge of all trade materials and tools.
• Ability to lift and carry 36 to 50 lbs. occasionally, 22 to 30 lbs. frequently, and up to 11 to 15 lbs. constantly.

This role operates under indirect supervision, performing technical responsibilities and contributing to the development and improvement of concepts, techniques, and procedures. Coordinates tasks within a specific range of responsibilities under established procedures and contributes to a team under general supervision. Suitable for skilled specialists or recent graduates with role-specific skills and experience. Requires judgment and initiative in resolving issues and making recommendations.
