Layer Pick Operator - 2nd Shift

Role Summary

The layer pick operator will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating both inbound receiving and outbound picking of part tasks within the Spirit Distribution Center (SDC).

Responsibilities

• Follow established parameters for Receiving/Picking/XDOCK areas respectively
• Process sort and prep all deliveries arriving at SDC and routed to the correct destination.
• Receive and process all incoming deliveries to stock correctly based on system locations and parameters.
• Pick and Pack orders according to work orders and instructions.
• Process orders accurately and timely in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Maintain the highest integrity when processing orders in the WMS.
• Ensure proper care and safeguarding of all computer equipment in possession.
• Ensure proper prep, care and safeguarding of all customer parts in possession.
• Handle and process orders under control accurately and within established timeframes.
• Notify Lead or Supervisor of any problems encountered during operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management principles.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.

Skills

• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures.

Pay

The expected base pay range for this position is $20.50 – $20.50 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.

Monday-Friday 1pm-9:30pm
