Lawrence, KS: help dogs as they take a break on their road trip to adoption!

Description

Have you ever been on a long road trip, and after a full day of driving all you wanted was a warm, safe place to sleep and a good meal? Well, some dogs will soon be traveling in your direction, and they could use a little help from someone like you.

Responsibilities

• Unloading shift when the transport arrives: 7:00-9:00 PM
• Time subject to change due to traffic, weather, etc.
• Loading shift prior to departure the next morning: 6:30-8:30 AM
• Flexibility is wonderful!

Requirements

• Volunteer shifts are typically as follows:

Benefits

• Helping to save lives by taking dogs from shelters where they are at a high risk to rescue groups in other communities with higher save rates where they can be adopted into loving homes.
