Position Summary
Procare Property Services is seeking an experienced Lawn Mowing Crew Leader to lead a professional lawn maintenance crew. This position is responsible for operating commercial mowing equipment, ensuring properties are maintained to company standards, training crew members, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a lawn mowing crew on residential and commercial properties.
- Operate commercial zero-turn mowers, stand-on mowers, trimmers, edgers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment.
- Ensure all properties are serviced according to company quality standards.
- Train and supervise crew members.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Load, unload, and secure equipment and materials.
- Complete daily route assignments efficiently and safely.
- Communicate with customers professionally when needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck, trailer, and equipment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Aid with landscape enhancement projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of lawn maintenance experience.
- Previous crew leadership experience preferred.
- Experience operating commercial zero-turn mowers required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- DOT Medical Card required (or ability to obtain one).
- Ability to drive a truck and trailer preferred.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor throughout the day.
