Job Summary The Lawn Maintenance Crew Member is responsible for providing high-quality lawn care services, including mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and site clean-up for residential and commercial properties. This role requires the safe and competent operation of zero-turn mowers, string trimmers, and blowers. The ideal candidate has a mechanical background and supports the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of all lawn care equipment. During the winter months, this position transitions to general labor and snow removal duties, including shoveling snow, clearing walkways, and occasionally operating an RTV as part of the downtown snow removal crew. The position also serves as an on-call mechanic to support winter operations as needed. Essential Job Functions Perform mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing duties at client properties according to service expectationsOperate lawn care equipment safely and efficiently, including zero-turn mowers, trimmers, and blowersFollow assigned route and property list to ensure timely completion of all tasksClean up all debris and ensure a neat and professional appearance of each propertyAssist with maintenance and minor repairs of equipment used in daily operationsIdentify and report any property issues or hazards to the Lawn Maintenance Crew Lead or ManagerMaintain a professional demeanor and work cooperatively with crew members and supervisorsOperate snow removal equipment as trained and authorizedShovel snow from sidewalks, walkways, building entrances, and other designated areasAssist with snow removal and ice prevention to maintain safe walking and working conditionsServe as an on-call support mechanic for equipment issues during winter shiftsOther duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalentAt least 1 year of experience in lawn care or groundskeeping preferredCompetency operating a zero-turn mower, trimmer, and blowerMechanical aptitude and willingness to assist with equipment repairsWillingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and winter on-call shiftsAbility to reliably report to job sites and follow route assignments What We Offer Competitive compensation100% company paid health insurance for employee and dependents 100% company paid dental and vision for employee and dependents 401k with 3% company matchOvertime after 8 hoursPTO And much more!
