Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead a crew providing lawn maintenance services including mowing, trimming, edging, landscaping, and leaf cleanup.
• Oversee snow removal operations during winter months, coordinating routes and ensuring safe, timely service.
• Plan daily work, keep jobs on schedule, and meet client expectations without constant supervision.
• Operate your crew with ownership—managing efficiency, quality, and production as if it were your own company.
• Train and mentor crew members on proper techniques, safety standards, and efficiency in the field.
• Inspect equipment, perform basic upkeep, and coordinate repairs before breakdowns slow the crew down.
• Communicate with customers professionally to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.
• Track hours, materials, production, and job notes accurately.
• Follow company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.

What We’re Looking For

• Lawn care or landscaping experience (2+ years leading a crew preferred).
• Leadership skills—you can motivate a crew without babysitting.
• Solid understanding of lawn care practices, equipment operation, and basic plant identification.
• Comfortable making decisions in the field and taking ownership of results.
• Strong communication skills with both customers and team members.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift equipment and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Pesticide applicator’s license or willingness to obtain one.
• DOT physical card or willingness to obtain one.

Compensation

$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
