Lawn Healthcare Specialist

About the role

The Lawn Healthcare Applicator is responsible for safely handling and applying lawn care products, diagnosing and treating pests and diseases, and interacting professionally with customers.

Responsibilities

• Safe handling and application of lawn care products
• Diagnose and treat pest and disease issues
• Operate lawn care equipment
• Interact professionally with customers
• Complete paperwork and administrative tasks
• Maintain a clean crew truck
• Train a novice lawn care assistant

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and insurable on company's insurance policy
• Legal documentation to verify employment eligibility
• Physically able to handle the work load of a Lawn Care Technician
• Able to lift 50 pounds without assistance
• Applicator's licenses and certifications or willingness to obtain
• Able to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Two years of experience in lawn care or landscaping field preferred but not required
• Learns and thoroughly understands all aspects of lawn care as outlined above and in company SOPs
• Able to operate company equipment and perform daily preventative maintenance
• Proficient in or able to learn company software
• Meets or exceeds company production standards for Lawn Care work
• Ensures jobs are kept on schedule and on budget
• Able to follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
• Able to perform up-sales and convert them into work orders

Qualifications

• Full range of mobility in upper and lower body
• Knowledgeable in all aspects of lawn care as outlined above and in company SOPs
• Proficient in or able to learn company software
• Meets or exceeds company production standards for Lawn Care work
• Able to work with minimal supervision from Lawn & Plant Healthcare Coordinator

$22.00 per hour
