Lawn Care Technician / Specialist

About the role

Naturescape of Janesville, WI is seeking a Lawn Care Specialist to deliver outstanding lawn and landscape services to residential and commercial customers. You’ll be the face of the company in the field, managing a route and transforming landscapes across our service area.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision lawn care, lawn aeration, mowing, tree/shrub care and pruning, and mosquito control
• Assess lawn health and landscape needs using provided training
• Communicate clearly with customers to build rapport and ensure satisfaction
• Pivot to snow removal and other winter work as seasons change
• Obtain and maintain state pesticide certifications

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Motivated with a desire to learn

No prior lawn care or landscape experience is required; paid training is provided.

Pay

• Starting wage: $19/hr
• Expected average: $19/hr – $26/hr
• Top earners can make an extra $15,000+ per year in performance bonuses
• Weekly bonus potential; most specialists earn a bonus every week

Schedule

• Typical schedule: 10-hour days, 4 days per week (variations due to weather and customer needs)
• Full-time, part-time, and seasonal positions available with flexible scheduling
